Girard Perregaux

Sea Hawk II

Greeting all
I am new to the GP as a primary owner, although I have a PAM98 which has a GP for its engine, I confess I love the watch
Great legibility and lume and terrific quality of case build and I must say, that in comparison to the Submariner and Sea Dweller, the watch makes those pieces pedestrian and mass produced.
(Not here to flame...as I have the others as well)
The question I have for the forum is this. The GP runs slow about 10s/day. I brought it into my Rolex/Patek/Panerai AD to have it calibrated as I figured they would be good enough to regulate it.
They did put in on a regulator and adjusted it for me and they reported a peculiarity to me
The watch run irregularly....stable in one position it can be running -5 to -12 and all things in between and thus it made it very hard to regulate

I recall reading something about this
Can someone point me in the direction to learn more.

thanks
