Good catch of the leap year indicator. I am really curious to know if it indeed has been modified to make those 180 degree jumps. The one in the 1966 case seems to be working as usual. Please let us know when you find out.

I love the different finishes on the dial surfaces. But I do find it interesting that you would pick a PC Laureato of all of them. Never took you for a PC lover. Besides, your EoT is still the coolest.
Well, I can sometimes surprise myself
I think the ease of setting this PC is a big plus, it works just like the 1966 EoT. So the 1966 for formal and the Laureato for casual...I think that's a great pair.
Well, the sapphire bridges Tourbillon is a very different league
I still think the new Chronograph is really a good offering, solid case back, 100m WR, great dial and case...just ignore the date window and you will like it

Over all very nice looking watch. Especially I like the dial and its asymmetric layout. I agree with your opinion that central second hand is rather unnecessary (dial looks much clearer on your Laureato Evo3 Large Date / Moon with small second hand)
Love it! Great watch and very excellent post and review, thanks CC. I’m with you on the gold rotor, but I like seeing movement on the dial, so the seconds hand doesn’t bother me. [nt]
I suppose GP put an SS rotor for the principle of keeping gold rotors for gold watches. But, with this complication, they could have/should have made an exception. Anyway, a relatively minor gripe, compared to the overall goodness!

but I feel the same when it comes to action on the dial, something got to be moving
