Senator Manual Winding Skeletonized Edition
Filigreed mechanics and the dazzling art of watchmaking
Taking up the long-standing and well-established tradition of skeletonized watches from
Glashütte, the Saxon manufactory has created the beautiful Senator Manual Winding
Skeletonized Edition. This latest masterpiece from Glashütte Original features the firm’s own
Calibre 49-18, complete with intricate mechanics, artfully executed engravings and captivating
details.
The elegant two-hand model is presented in a perfectly polished red gold case, 42 mm in
diameter, which frames the painstakingly skeletonized manual winding movement and draws the
eye to the refined beauty of this timepiece. A masterpiece of fine watchmaking, this extraordinary
model features a 40 hour power reserve.
The galvanized silver, skeletonized dial is decoratively enhanced by a black railroad minute ring
and finely drawn Roman numerals. Delicate blued hour and minute hands indicate the time of day.
The Senator Manual Winding Skeletonized Edition opens up the art of Glashütte watchmaking
to the connoisseur’s admiring eye: the precisely executed skeletonization reveals the
quintessential beauty of the manufactory Calibre 49-18. The filigreed work of art is protected on
the dial side by a sapphire crystal, antireflective on both sides, and by an antireflective sapphire
crystal fitted to the case back, offering the wearer an exceptional view of the movement’s
elaborately finished components and artful engravings.

Time for an excellent celebration
The fine art of making watches in Germany, from Glashütte Original
Time is considered the most valuable of gifts. Especially now, as the days grow shorter and the
festive season of the year begins, we are even more aware of its value. A watchmaker rich in
tradition, Glashütte Original takes this occasion to offer as a gift, once again, the most charming
form of time: truly excellent timepieces for men and women, along with an exclusive new model,
that give precise expression to the beauty of every moment.
A sophisticated, 42 mm white gold case frames the galvanic, skeletonized dial revealing the manual wind 49-13 movement. The latter's complex mechanics set the rhythm of the blued hour,
minute and small second hands; they also drive the moon phase display, positioned at 10 o'clock, whose finely worked skies are crafted in the watchmaker's own dial manufactory in Pforzheim,
Germany. A separate display at 2 o'clock, marked with the words "auf" (up) and "ab" (down), is dedicated to the 40-hour power reserve. A dark blue Louisiana Alligator leather bracelet with
foldover clasp underscores the elegance of the filigreed skeletonized timepiece.
