I had one as an anniversary present some years back - a Senator Sixties Square Chrongraph
I see from my notes that it was ref 39-34-03-32-04 ( whatever that means!)
Movement was automatic, Glasshutte Original Caliber 39-34 measuring 26.2mm x4.3mm. 51 jewels 28,800 vph
Case was stainless steel 41.35 x 41.35mm, height 12.6mm , with gold hands and markers on a silver dial
My wife would never tell me how much she paid, but I guess around £4/5000.
My eldest grandson had always loved the watch, and in a moment of weakness I gave it to him for his 18th birthday - with my wife.s approval, for as she pointed out, with all my other watches ( you sense the gentle criticism there? ), I would not miss it.
BUT I DO!!!
And if I was ever forced to own just one watch it would be that one.
