Cocktail Senator Cosmopolite at the Glashütte Original boutique in Paris
I had the chance to attend this evening a cocktail organized by the Glashütte Original boutique located rue de la Paix to celebrate the Senator Cosmopolite.
The interesting point was that the watchmaker could deeply explained how this travel watch works.
I remind you that the Cosmopolite handles 37 different timezones.
Hometime is displayed at 12 o'clock with a very discreet dot which is a day/night display.
The main display is dedicated to local time.
The two windows on the left are used to display the IATA codes. DST means Daylight Saving Time so you shall put the IATA code of the local time in this window if this location is in this context. The colors of the IATA codes explain if the timezone is a full hour one (black), half hour one (blue) or a quarter or three quarters one (red).
This watch is really dedicated to the travelers... and I would say the flights travelers... the date display follows your trips...
It is easy to use once you understand the role of each crown.
