A funny concept: Glasshutte Original Senator Diary.
What do we have here?
A big date and most importantly, an Alarm. But not a common alarm! Indeed, you can set it on... 31 one days.
Here comes the funny thing: If you set the alarm for 31 days, how will you do to remember for what reason you set the alarm 31 days before?
)) The concept is interesting, but I fear it will be useless...

Not totally true about the 12 hours limit on a wrist watch. You have some exceptions: Ulysse Nardin, with the Sonata, Harry Winston, with the Z6 ( if my memory serves me well on the reference )
And maybe the more recent Patek Traveler Alarm. I must forget one or two others. With those you can set the alarm on 24 hours. Best, Nicolas
I set the alarm at most 1 to 2 days in advance
But most of the time I set the alarm for within the same day. So I can't say if I would forget if I set it 31 days in advance...

If you think about it there are always better appliances than mechanical watches for their uses like chrono calendar etc. Using mechanical watches is generally not the logical solution, however imho they have a charm that their electronic counterparts lac...

This is getting out of hand I guess :))))
It seems you can live the rest of your life sorrounded with only beautiful chimes.
I can imagine it might be useful for a recurring event.
Such as something medically related that requires no written explanation. A dose of something or a measurement, home test etc. But there are too many other ways to do it to make it valuable for a watch.
