Something new from Glashütte Original : the Senator Excellence Panorama Date Moon Phase.
Quite a mouthfull of a name for such a restrained and elegant watch !
This is the recently released version with the "frosted copper" dial : here a few pictures .
The embossed dial has a galvanic treatment that makes for an ever changing colour between copper,salmon and red gold.
With the right light,the blue parts of the dial come to life!
Still for me the best big date in the industry!
Regardless of the price you will be hard pressed to find a better executed dial than with this GO.
The details are stunning.
The cal. 36-24 is a horological master piece : all in-house, silicon balance spring , 100 hrs power reserve ....and superbly regulated with almost no rate deviation !

And,very subjectively, I think that this is also a gorgeous looking movement !
As usual with GO finely finished with some hand engraved parts.

With a very small bezel (and thus a wide dial opening) this watch wears and looks a bit bigger than the 40mm case might suggest.
Ain't that a beautie ??

GO is a fantastic brand 🙂.
And they are certainly one of the highest integrated manufactures in the industry !!
The dial layout is well thought out and the colors ( Salmon/gold and blue ) are work well together.
how did it feel on the wrist? I hope to see one day some day.
One of the best high horology values out there !
Makes so many other watches and brands shamelessly overpriced (especially all these hyped independents that could never ever produce a movement at that technical quality level) 🤨
