Glashutte Original PanoInverse.

Sep 05, 2022,09:21 AM

One of my two or three G.O I would love to score.

For its original concept, the inverted movement which is quite rare to see in our current days watches ( Montlblanc did the same with this year " Unveiled Secret " ), for its beauty, and for its double swan neck.

It was love at first sight, and it is an ever lasting love affair.

I almost bought one years ago in the Bahamas.

What did stop you?

Why are inverted movements so rare?

 By: LK : September 5th, 2022-14:42
Some dials are indeed beautiful, but often I think the movement would be more enjoyable to look at. So, why not more inverted movements? Inverted Lang & Heyne Georg . . .

The first one

Ah, the PanoInverse, a favorite.

I dress mine down with a natural leather strap that's taken on a deep honey-brown hue over time. ...

Lucky you!

I tried it on but found it to be not legible. The older white dial version appears to be better but sadly discontinued

You mean this one?

Like you say, a great concept that is executed well. I'm biased though, but it's one I like a lot, and even after 10 years, still love it as much as when I first got it. Best, Richard
