Wandering date windows... A detail of the new ref. 25932 (with larger pics)

G'day,

anyone noticed the new position of the window date for the 25932, which is going to replace the ref. 2593 (small seconds at 6)?

It?s a bit near reference 25960, but the difference is subtle and not that easy to notice.
When i encountered it first, i was admittedly a bit torn. But having had a second (third, ...) look, i think it?s nicely done and the numeral at 6 is a very nice visual counterweight for the numeral at 12.

Here?s are both reference 25960 and 25932, side by side:

ref. 25960

It makes a difference, doesn?t it?
And on a side note, the blue dial/steel case is a nice combination. For reference, here?s again the new range:

An interesting detail may be the new case back (all ref. 2593 come with solid backs):

The serial production pieces come with a subtle difference; while the steel model does have a plain crystal, the precious metal variants will have a softly curved crystal.
A detail for those "in the know"!

What do you think of the new one?

Greetings from germany,

Peter
