I have recently acquired a circa 2000 rose-gold Richeville auto with moon hands and roman numerals chapter. Date indicator by separate hand. Timekeeping is well within COSC (better than 2 seconds/day). Nicer looking watch than the latest Richville's I think. Six screws secure the back. While it has such good time-keeping I am reluctant to open the back. I think its a ref 2730 cal 2201-960B. Seems to be a low serial number inscribed on the back "OR - xx"). Also seems not to be many examples around. I should like more precise information on this watch please eg original list price, when production stopped, PPH, water-resistance etc.
I also own a 14kt gold vintage art deco GP supposed to date from 1938 with cal 86 movement. Also a good time keeper for its age and lovely to wear. I have a similar watch recorded in a refrence book as a 1948 vintage. Was it possible for similar examples to be produced over 10 years, or is 1938 incorrect for the year?
