Hello again Peter,
Many thanks for responding and sharing your views w me, it is trully appreciated. I was wondering, would you have any information on the origins of the IWC Portuguese Rattrapante movement?
As for the GP, I trully enjoy my watch, The flying seconds feature (in a mechanical watch)is a real marvel. BTW have you come accross the Graham Chronograph Foudroyante? it is very simillar to the GP.
I Also agree w your car analogy, but would probably patronize AMG(now a DC subsidiary) over ALpina because its a "house" subsidiary).I think that when one buys an E55 AMG one is purchasing a Mercedes Benz enhanced by AMG, Whereas in the watch scenario its an ETA enhanced by GP.
Peter, What other watch brands do you patronize?
