Questions on the Vintage 1945 chronograph...
Hi Peter and all, I am thinking about the purchase of a lightly used SS Vintage 1945 chrono with the off white dial and am hoping those here can answer a few questions please.
What can you tell me about the 3080 movement? I assume it's a GP module on top of the 3100 movement. I have never seen a column wheel chronograph module. Any info on this movement is welcome.
What size is the case, I have read it's 38 x 38 but also read it's 31 x 30? Can anyone clarify this and let me know how it looks on the wrist. I also believe it is 12mm tall.
Lastly, how is the feel of the pushers? I have had reservations in the past about chronos in square cases due to the linkage to the chrono functions being less than optimal.
Thanks to all in advance for your help and particularly to Peter who has made this a wonderful, friendly and informative forum. Best, Mike.
