Actually these pictures are part of a series i hope to become publically available in the future.
Recently a very talented young photographer, who happens to be a tremendously nice and very passionate guy, visited Girard-Perregaux. The pictures represent a different look at the manufacture and especially the people behind the brand, which i believe it would make a very nice book.

So here we go with some impressions, which happen to go nicely with the general topic of new models these days.
Design work at GP happens in many instances, because there?s both the design department and the creative minds of Gino and Stefano Macaluso.
When it comes to new models, alternatives and directions are subject of regular meetings, where those in charge of the new products exchange views, suggestions and opinions on a regular base. These meetings, called "project meetings", include a very close circle of participants and naturally it?s not that ongoing developments or new ideas are easily shared in public.

Therefore these are rare insights and i?m particularly happy we get to see a glimpse at one of these meetings, through the lens of a really talented photographer:
