i?d like to point at a somewhat "neglected" watch; that?s a pity, because it?s nicely done and attractive in person (attractively priced too
).
The "Bressel" is sort of the "classic" line of JeanRichard; these are timepieces following classic designs for chronographs and time-only pieces.
Among these, the Bressel reference 16012 reveals it?s inner qualities only when seen on the back side; the large case of 43mm diameter houses an altered Unitas ebauche with an attractive finish and an unusual bridge layout.
The 2004 version comes with improved dials and hands; that?s an upgrade for many of JeanRichard?s pieces across all lines and it is apparent in nature. I?ll refer to that with another JR watch to be shown later, but the new Bressel dial does have a much finer printing of the luminous numerals and more elaborate hands. Together with the curved front crystal, it sums up in a much more attractive appearance.
