Not a must but I must admit that I, like you, love the sight of the movement. And since one does not wear a watch upside down, the view of the movement is like a little secret.........
Serious, I would love to see the movement inside my SF Foudroyante, for instance. And must not think of a solid back on my Radiomir Zerograph...

ps on the other hand I have read something about possible "damage" light can do to the movement. Not sure about this and I will try to find where I read it.
