GP 2005: Some impressions of the GP "Tourbillon" pen collection

 

Dear enthusiasts,

here are some impressions of GP's new pens.

Actually this is cool stuff and very different, as the material is not used for other pens and extremely hard to work on. Particularly the square cambered shape of the pen body is quite tricky to achieve and the screws in the cap are solid gold. The little jewels in the cap is a real ruby (not synthetic, as used for watches).

They got a nice heft, somewhat more heavy than a MB 149 and still very handy.
The polishing leads to an amazing shine, while the colour is GP's preferred colour (and another trick done by Montegrappa).

So here are some pictures; as you see, each piece is signed on the bottom:







They really got them right!
