the EOT & Triple Calendar gets my vote. Nice comp and glad GP is into classics looks instead of the loud 'look at me' design

GP 2006: The comprehensive overview - Vintage 45 line

 By: PeterCDE : April 11th, 2006-02:14
Dear enthusiasts, i?m happy to give a more comprehensive overview of the new models by Girard-Perregaux, of which there are some. This will be a two-stage approach; first of all, the model informations will be shared based on the respective model lines: V...

Reference 90275 - Equation Of Time, Perpetual Calendar

 By: PeterCDE : April 11th, 2006-02:14
The Equation Of Time compromises a perpetual calendar with instant jumping indications, which is a development with Daniel Roth. The view underneath the dial is as beautiful as the dial itself and reveals the high craftmanship that comes with this very sp...

Gorgeous piece.

Simply awesome and the movement is a joy to look at. And an interesting complication too. Did GP make this complication in the past ? I remember some quartz models with various combined complications but not sure about that. Best, Mark

That?s new to GP!

Reference 25810 - Triple Calendar

 By: PeterCDE : April 11th, 2006-02:14
The Triple Calendar hits a very soft spot of mine - classic and timeless looks, together with a "small" complication. This watch compromises a newly designed case of square proportions, which add some width compared to the "Kingsize" case: The new case we...

Reference 25840 - XXL Chronograph in steel

 By: PeterCDE : April 11th, 2006-02:14
The new ref. 25840 "XXL Chronograph" is an interesting addition; the pitch here is a more "bold" and sportive look of GP?s largest case size in the Vintage45 and a brushed steel case, where the XXL models are available in precious metals only otherwise. T...

This large chrono is quite nice. Why is it limited though,

I could imagine it would sell very well. Would a bracelet be an option on this ? Thanks Dennis

Reference 25805 - Large Date (without moon)

 By: PeterCDE : April 11th, 2006-02:14
I?ve introduced this reference earlier ( click here for the coverage ) and so far, the overall response in Japan shows this addition is quite much appreciated. Personally i like it a lot either, even if i like the Japan variant a bit better than the one t...

Thank you Peter for this plethora of info.

I must admit that the Triple calendar is a mighty fine and attractive buy. When I saw the first picture it was white dialed and with gold Arabics which I must confess I did not find attractive in the slightest. However seeing the black dial with silver Ar...

Interesting "Today"...

 By: jokoh : April 11th, 2006-07:19
The Fine Bone China looks quite nice but too bad its in the smaller size. Better not let the wifely unit see it Peter, you mentioned that the 25805 will be limited to 999 and that 200 would be for Japan. Would you happen to know what the Japan model would...
