Congratulation - a very nice catch! :) My experience is that these Chronometer HF often keep very good time even if not serviced in a long time. As for your Q's: Crown is approx 5 mm in diameter and 2 mm thick. My understanding of the double holes is that...

When the the case is straight it is not because of curved spring bars. But as you say, depending on thickness of the strap/bracelet. Please share some shots of your 2510! Which dial version do you have? I would love to find a blue dial one! :) Best Blomma...

I had seen this one for sale and if it would have been steel then I would have jumped on it. Good cleaning up job, looks ready to wear. I think the crown is okay, you may consider refreshing the gold-plating rather than trying to find a replacement. Outer...

I know that Australia is a good hunting ground for Chronometer HFs as I have imported and exported five of the first generation models with calibre 32A and used them to pad out responses to discussion here!
