Hi Promethus, It is true: the deployant it is curved too much at the joint. Myself, I just straighten the deployant at half of its initial curve, so now is not hurting my hand. I did it because my wrist is almost 8" and I like the watch enough to not chan...

That sounds like an extremely good idea, but I am not sure if I will like the fitting after it's straightened. Do you happen to have pics of wristshots in multiple angles of how the claps behaves after it's straightened? Thank you! B.

Hi, It helps a lot. Hehehe. Because you have a large wrist, when you straighten the clasp, it sits down flat on the bottom of your wrist. Where else in my case, the clasp is on the side of my wrist. Thus, if I straighten it, it will push the strap outward... 

Try swapping the strap around

so take the strap off and put the strap that was at 12 o'clock to 6 o'clock and vice versa. The deployant should now sit a little better on the other side of your wrist. I'm recommending this because it works for those with small wrists and AP Offshores. ...

I decide to just continue with the usage with 3rd party straps until I find an OEM Rubber & Dive deployant combo. I doubt I like the idea of the tail of the strap sticking inwards instead of outwards after swapping them around. hahaha. Thanks!
