Hi Juko,
I personally buy my GP?s because of both aspects, I am also an owner of a ref.2599 and now a ref.4952 both watches have in-house movements and cases as well as designs and this makes them very special because this combo is very rare among watch brands.
GP is a true "manufacture" that is still under appreciated even among watch enthusiasts that are biased towards the more obvious choices and makes it an insider secret for true purist!
