I was shown a Dead Seconds Tourbillon today and fell for it in a instant. Of wow, the noise that the second hand makes is unbelieveable. It's a beautiful watch.
I own a 5970G Patek and, although I love it too, it has never sung to me in the way that the FPJ did today. So, I'm considering trading the 5970 for the FPJ but, as I know little about Journes, I need some advise.
Have any of you guys had any problems with recent tourbillon models and are there any issues that I should look out for? Do many come up on the secondary market and, if so, do they retain a reasonable percentage of their MRSP? Is the Tourby strong enough to wear on a regular (daily) basis? Is its beauty short lived or of enduring value? (purely subjective I know, but I did read a couple of ads from people selling theirs saying that it got zero wrist time). Sorry for som many questions, but I have little time to decide. Thank you in advance.
