A little late, but Happy New Year with the RG QP boutique blue

While most are aware of the two features of Journe’s QP that are quite unique is the 1) instantaneous 4 aperture change and the 2) crown only setting of the QP and hidden lug lever to toggle through the 48 months, what i did want to share that some may not be aware of is that the date change is “dragged” , meaning it may not happen exactly at midnight but could occur anywhere from 12:00 to 12:04? I haven’t followed each date change so not sure how much later it could trigger, but it is always instantaneous.

Also, like other QPs, there isn’t a running second hand, so it is not something you do where you are counting down at midnight and NYE and hoping for a perfect instantaneous date change right at 12.

I’m staying way too far away to be a customer, guess it’s not meant to be. No experience whatsoever with this brand but I like the instantaneous jump features. I think all watches should have this capability. Lange 1 PC is another great example.
