Just the mood I’m in ; ) ...  

I took a break from wine with whisky and now I’m taking a break from that with rum. I must say that never in my mind did I ever think fine rums could rival whisky or other fine spirits.

I'm intrigued. recommendations? someone recently offered me a bottle of Glenfarclas rum but i turned it down because i know very little about rums

But I'm currently enjoying aged rums from El Dorado, Foursquare, and Plantation with at least twelve or fifteen years of age on them. Such a pleasure to sip on its own or with a pipe/cigar.

Not a bad way to mix it up. Enjoy!
