Your reasoning behind the "trade" makes sense-you will be able to grab another Dato if and when you want one. And the Centigraphe is a worthy watch. Amazing, if unnecessary or over-the-top, what it can do. And it makes a great sport watch in Ti or aluminum. I like your version very much and look forward to seeing it up close. The white hands with the gray/white dial/sub-dials is very handsome.
Where I disagree with you is on its looks. I happen to think the dial is beautiful; especially in this Ti; or salmon or black matched with a rose gold case. Oh, and the black label is pretty pretty as well. I guess beauty is in the eye of the person with the watch on his/her wrist. Congratulations, though. Many happy wears!

You were an early adopter for the Centigraphe, and others here too. It was a close decision for me on the ALU versus the TI, I think I would have been happy either way. The TI is for me a little more everyday wearable and that pushed the decision.

I’m being a little hard maybe on the dial, but for a long time I couldn’t feel it or didn’t get it. The non Sport Centigraphe dial was always more attractive and part of that was (for me) the hands. I wish the hands on the Sport were solid white, I think ...
