Here's my take...
The official reference is CMS/CM and, by doing a search, I found that the 1916 Company appears to have made their own reference. Bottom line, they are the same watch.

I only found the reference CRT TI 44 B GR on third party sites, such as Chrono24 and, as you noticed, the 1916 Company. I couldn’t find this reference on any Journe webpage, including their online catalogues. I think your take makes sense. Thank you very ...
