Francois-Paul Friday is now….
And this past week has been with a “back to basics” watch. A fundamental watch and caliber in the FPJ collection. Fundamental in my core collection. It’s a watch I always come back to and one I can wear for weeks and even months. My first Journe and my longest and deepest lasting love in my time of collecting.

The burgundy strap is nice on the CB
Don’t k ow why I didn’t try that. That dial really plays well with colorful straps.
I find that most, if not all colored straps work well with the CB.

Today is a Journe day !
And not the usual suspect. Having my first client meeting in person (but outdoors) since March 2020 and so I did actually put a shirt on ! And a nice watch too ! Back in Bleu ! ...

Great picture, as always. Congratulations for being back in the “uniform”. ;-) how did it feel. It’s so rare for me these days so I enjoy it when I need to put put on the business dress.
It was all good.
Somewhat of a uniform although sleeves were rolled up (as you can see in the pic) so still on the casual side. It was good to see some people in person of course.

What did you think of the black version? I think the texture of the black is really interesting?
The black dials are something else
I don’t think they look good on every piece though, the black creates a lot of negative space and if the dial has a lot of empty space it looks off. My favorite one is the CR. ...
