My first and only love is the RDM Octa. Anything else is something..... else.

... at the Boca Raton boutique in both platinum and rose gold. I liked it alot, more than the CS, which I've never warmed up to. I much prefer the dial layout with the power reserve at 9:00. And, as you say, the movement is beautiful to look at.

I especially like the group picture of CS black label, Octa Automatique and CS - great to have it in the masthead! Between Octa Automatique and CS, I prefer the latter for its simpler dial view and the movement view without the rotor. Actually I've even b... 

What makes the clear cut of Souveraine collection from Octa now? I guess it's the movement.

I don't think this new design can hold a candle to the original CS. Maybe this is a case of the emperor's new clothes. When the original CS came out it was a totally refreshing design for Journe and it was seen within the context of the classic Journe des...
