Your watch is beautiful and I've been on the hunt for a yellow dial version for quite some time as I love the Octa Lune!

First time posting on the site so thanks for hosting this great community. Have long admired the brand but only purchased my first FPJ yesterday. It’s a platinum 38mm Octa Lune. I have looked back at posts in this forum and haven’t seen many (or any) pics...

Welcome and congratulations!

This is quite an entry The Octa Lune is beautiful and I love how the moon aperture and the inscription balances the dial. The dial is so well composed with all its circles and arches. I think you are quite lucky to have found this piece as the 38mm pieces...

Thanks Christian

38mm is perfection in my mind. You are right insofar as the Octa Lune not being seen much on these forums but I’m hoping you will correct that now! Please share some more of the collection when you have time. In the meantime enjoy that Journe.

Thanks Jay

Is there a particular reason other Octa Lunes don’t show up much here? From what the NYC boutique told me not many exist but don’t know too much beyond that. Except that I love the aesthetic and technical aspects of this watch (and brand) immensely.

I would also have guessed, just based on following Journe closely for many years...

...that there just isn’t that many Octa Lune out there. Hence we don’t see them much, and in 38mm even more infrequently. You will see more RDM generally among collectors and people love the asymmetry and all the unused space on the left of the dial. Pers...

That makes sense

Frankly, the moonphase and text balances out the dial to me and appeals asthetically more to me than empty space. The boutique told me that 50 or so platinum with rose gold movements were made and 500 total Octa Lunes in total.

What’ll be interesting to see is whether another one or two pop up here in coming months.

Often it takes someone acquiring something that was on others periphery, posting some nice pictures, providing more exposure to the piece and then the next thing one knows is that they are searching FS and Dealer listings!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

I look forward to continuing to share and participate in the forum. Seems supply is pretty constrained on the 38mm so I jumped when I saw it. A little about me - I’m 40, love in Chicago, have twin boys (5) and have been collecting watches for about 16 yea...

Thank you for your introduction

It seems, like most of us, you have progressed from a broad range of trying out different watches to narrowing down your taste. I have done the exact same. 38mm Resonance is a great idea. As Jay says, also quite steep, You should also look at the Chronome...

Welcome and Congratulations!

I have only had it for 2 days but can say strongly how worth it it is to find “the one”
