You can aspect from an expensive watch, that the quality is right.
I hope for you that your F.P. Journe stays fresh.

A heart soft thought is, you know where your watch is in repair. At the place of production.

Got this lovely baby for 2 days then sent back to Geneva for weeks because of 2 rubber edges got off. Now finally back. Who know for how long will these rubber stay? Enjoying the whole piece and preying .... ...

I’m hoping everything stays where it’s supposed to this time and that you just got unlucky with a QC slip up first time around. These manufacturers are not infallible, errors occur. Please post more action shots of this watch, it’s really a beautiful piec...

...are the rubber pieces adhered to the surface or are there recesses in the case/bracelet into which part of the rubber pieces are sunk? I always wondered how all those rubber pieces were attached to the watch.....

The inside of the metal is hollow

The edge of the rubber is in the metal and being attached by glue(I guess it is a special glue?)

I would bet that was just an anomaly. The rubber pads on my JLC have worn just fine over the years and I'm pretty sure they are glued in as well. Enjoy! That is hands down my favorite watch in the Journe lineup!

My JLC has rubber bumpers on either side of the case and they look new after all these years. I'm pretty sure they are just affixed with adhesive but they are wearing incredibly well. One of the things I really like about the linesports is (was?) the use ...
