Differences in Resonance Backs

Notice the difference between this Ruthenium Resonance and BMOP Resonance? On the left you can see the barrels but on the right there is now a plate that covers them with engravings of the brand name. Was this change made when Journe went from brass to go...

Hi Brad, The wheels that appear to be missing from the gold movement are the ratchet wheels. They sit on top of the barrels and are used to wind the watch. There are potential advantages and disadvantages to either design, but some watchmakers consider th...

Now when I look at the CS I can really appreciate how the ratchet wheels are sandwiched between the barrels and the bridge....
