Yielding to temptation
I was immediately drawn to this watch when I first put it on my wrist at a dinner hosted by Cartier in Singapore in July 2010. As I have exhausted my self-imposed quota for 2010, I had to wait till this year to get hold of one. Patience has finally paid off, and I am deeply privileged to own this beautiful Santos-Dumont Skeleton watch in WG.
I wish to thank SJX for his invaluable advice in helping me to come to this wonderful decision.

Yes, the ring is mine. I really like the size of this watch, which seems to fit perfectly on my wrist. Here's another wrist shot....

what is the diameter of the piece..? It seems to fit just like my 42mm Bell&Ross. Andy.
It's smaller than 42mm
I have rather small wrists. I think the watch measures about 37mm excluding the lugs. Cheers, CS

you have such great taste, its a definitive watch that cannot and will not be mistaken for anything else. btw how did you get cartier champagne??? is it any good, or just generic stuff with a cartier label?

Do share photos when yours arrives. Cartier champagne is not generic stuff, it's made by Louis Roederer, the makers of Cristal. It is given to VIP clients typically. - SJX
I have yet to open the bottle
and I would not consider myself a VIP client. Rather, the Cartier boutique sales person was extremely nice, and she surprised me with the champagne. I ended up buying a pendant for my wife as well, and will certainly go back again. Cheers, CS
