Patek’s World Time, in its various versions, has long been a favorite of mine. Certainly not the most technically complicated world time watch made, but I find the dial layout attractive and easy to read, and the time zone change mechanism is easy to use and practical. This week, I was able to complete my trio of World Times with one of Patek’s newest releases—the 5230P—and it is perhaps my favorite one yet. The guilloched blue dial is terrific, and the darker blue/almost black outer ring gives the watch a totally different feel than the usual white/silver outer ring. No real purpose for posting this other than to share a shot of this set that I hope to enjoy for a long time.
