what are your experinces with customized strap makers

 

Hi guys

 

My wrists are a little bigger than most so I always need extra long straps. Since this is usually a hassle when it comes to selection the last 4 straps I had custom made at Atelier du Bracelet Parisien. Overall I have been quite happy with these and their prices are quite fair. However it is time to order a couple more now. Im thinking nice/best classical straps like e.g. alligator/crocodile/austrich ect. but im also open to more fun stuff like sting ray.

What are your experiences with other good strap makers?

Does anyone have experiences with atalier Jean Rousseau compared to ABP?

They do not nessesarely customzed but shurely better than OEM.

What about Camille Fournet, Hermes ect?

Camille Fournet is working with JLC for straps... So, you have basically 2 options: 1/ You call or send a mail to JLC, ask them exactly the strap you want, with or wothout stitching, etc...in the lenght you want. 2/ You give directly a call to Camille fou...

Thats the right Idea Nicolas. Hopefully in the autum I can find the time. The Camille Fournet, are they the same or are they nicer than JLC OEM? Last time I went to Paris was at easter with a friend of mine. We where supposed to go to ABP on the last day,... 

They can be even nicer than the OEM straps, my friend

and call them for a special order. camille fournet has been very accomidating, even using the end insert pieces needed to fit certain cases..

do CF make the OEM straps?
