Altidore has had problems with his hamstrings in the past. :( Dempsey was hurt too. So many shocking results so far, I hope all this excitement continues through the rest of the tournament! Good luck to Mexico, I'll be watching them when they play Brazil ... 

They said the last time the US won their opening game it was in the 1930's! Portugal are without 3 of their starters so you never know how that will turn out. -MW

Still can't believe that they got beat 4-0 by Germany! Some many surprises so far and it's just the beginning! I have friends who never cared for soccer and after watching a bit they are hooked! Yep, Portugal next...and they are down 3 of their starters! ...
