Weekend Heuer. Part 10/? - Autavia

This week brings us to, IMHO, the most charming model of the Heuer line, the Autavia.

The Autavia line started in 1933 with a dashboard timer and the name "Autavia" indicates that is for Automobile and Aviation.

As a wristwatch chronograph, this line started in 1962 and ended in 1986. As Tag Heuer there was a reissue in 2003.

I know how many watches I took pics and they were around 30-40. Collectors here are very reserved, and they have tons of reasons for this behavior. Based on that I didn't ask how many or if this set was the full set. Cheers, Nilo

The first one which was worn by the great pilot Jo Siffert is certainly one of the most iconic credit : GVM I also have a crush for the military green, these later Autavia from the 80s have the chunkiest case, they are perfect wrist toys for the week-end,...
