Folks, thank you for yoru various and valuable inout to my search for "dual time" watches. I will report on it once I got something on my wrist.
In the meantime, I have another question, this time about watch boxes. Based on my shallow research, it appears that there are at least two types of "form" of the boxes - for strap only type (simple "gap" in the box) and strap or bracelet type (with "pillow" in the "gap"). I have only leather strap watches and it is quite bothersome to fit it on to the pillow to put in the box. So, I am thinking of "strap only type" box next time - should be easier everyday. BUT, I may want to make the strap with deployant buckle some day. I understand that there are types of deployant that can be detached from one side of the strap so that it might fit in the "strap only" type boxes.
Now, since the deployant may have height and extra length, would they fit in the strap only watch boxes, generally speaking? Those who have deployant buckles, what kind of watch boxes do you use? Does Scatola del Tempo models satisfy my needs?
Thanks again for my newbie question....
Ken
