Warranty question ....
Warranty question for the kind folks here…. Does anyone know if Rolex would honor the warranty if I purchase a pre-loved a watch form a fellow enthusiast ? I just noticed there’s a bit if a defect on” Ring lock system” ring edge, looks like a very minor ding that I noticed today when the sun light hit it just right…I confirmed it with my loop. (Only an analytic mad man like myself would notice this) It has another 10 months left on the warranty, but its not my name on the card. I would love to have this taken care of. Thanks in advance. It doesn' matter that you don't have your name on the warranty.
As the warranty follows the watch, not the original owner. Much more problematic is that the defect is due to a ding. Rolex, as any other brand, doesn't cover the defects due to dings. A misconception is covered, not a shock. Best, Drew. Nicolas.
The ding is not external Nicolas...
Maybe “ding” isn’t the best word to use, its more like tooling mark on “ring lock” ring under the crystal, it must have left the factory with this defect, I definitely know that Rolex or any other manufacturer would cover external dings . I consider this ...
