Still, in the characteristic style of the brand, some cars were interesting, and not bad looking.
The 262 C is one of them.
Made in collaboration with Bertone who made the roof, the windscreen and one or two other things, and assembled in Torino, Italy, this car was mostly sold in the US and produced in a bit more than 6600 pieces between 1977 and 1981 or 1982.
The car was huge ( 4, 90 m ) outside and inside, super comfortable. Not very powerful, with a bit more than 140 HP, then 155 HP, manual gear box or automatic.
But for those who want to drive differently. And with a certain style...

one of these in recent times, they are - dare I say - somewhat reminiscent of older Rolls-Royce cars of similar vintage to my eyes. Subjectively attractive is my conclusion then . Cheers, Filip

That is a zero issue car, to be driven every day. With some elements of comfort such as the AC.

The 780 C is less weird looking, more conventional, maybe.
But the top class one was the C 70 first generation. That one was a big love. Mainly the Coupé. I think they never made a nicer car than this one, since the P 1800. ...
If you are in need for some more speed just drop a BMW V10 in it :-)
