Vintage 1960 - 1970 ?

Dear forumers,

I have a question regarding my Vintage 1960 chronograph. This beauty is fitted with the 2280 movement and is running extremely well for about two years now !
On the back of my watch it states "Vintage 1960" and "ref 2598". In the recent catalogue there is a watch wich not only looks the same as mine but also has the same ref number. Strangely it is now called "Vintage 1970" chronograph.
Does anyone know why Girard-Peregaux changed the name ? Is there some difference between both watches ?
