UN Freak - still a Tour De Force OR an Also Ran ?
When I first viewed the Freak and read the specs I thought, "Wow, UN has accomplished the impossible!!".
But over two years later I am wondering if it is more an oddity than a true "paradigm shift in horology". I still love the watch and have an opportunity to get one (a Freak I in WG) but just wondered if it is yesterday news or still something to behold.
Your thoughts please.

Certainly a different concept and a unique and sophisticated>
design but IMHO it doesn't fulfill any of the things I would purchase a timepiece for. From what I can gather it's rather large and thick and it seems to me to not be very legible. A very unique timepiece though and probably not to be copied by any other ...

A MASTERPIECE! It's an original and quite unique piece... That's exactly why I love horology... Not legible???A poesy! It's like you ask why should you take a PP Celestial.... Because this is a masterpiece,an original and rare one, WOW...Look and judge......
