Ulysse Nardin with a new Executive: Moonstruck (World time)!
Everyone is dazed by the many new beautiful watches launched at SIHH.
Ulysse Nardin has a few interesting pieces, too. However, this one is special. Not only it's not mentioned by any watch blogs, it's also not mentioned by Ulysse Nardin on their own SIHH 2017 webpage! And being a sucker for world time watches, this one caught my attention, naturally.
I try to watch the Instagram stories, apart from all the post, and true enough, I managed to come across this rare gem on Al-Manara Intl Jewellery's Instagram story (@almanara_ij).
Enough talking, here is the photo:
Now, awaiting the details, and see if it'll fit my wrist!

Compared with the regular Moonstruck, the indication of the tides has been replaced ...
... with the world timer. Thus the reason for the "Executive" label, I assume. Marcus

I love that new version shown here, but personally, I would prefer the original one ...
I am not doing that timezone-crossing type of travelling frequently, so I am not in need for a world timer. Well, as an Austrian I do not need a tidal display neither, but my spirit was always oriented towards the sea. Marcus
Thinking more, the only issue that I have a problem with is that...
unlike the original version, there is no enamel map in the middle !
Spoke to my AD. Apparently this a real new version. I am wondering whether the picture was posted despite an embargo. Will be in RG and a white metal. Guessing it's the same size as the original but AD didn't have specific info about watch. I have
wondered if the Moonstruck would be the beginning of a new Trilogy (or more) set. Guess I\'m gonna be committed to it to continue the line.
