Ulysse Nardin Freak Lab: A first?
A Freak with a Date, that is already a first... Good or bad, I don't know. I am not in the camp of lovers, when it comes to adding a date to such an iconic watch.

Now, there is a second first: As far as I remember ( or did I miss something ) A titanium and moreover DLC coated Freak was never made.
It is now possible to have a " Black " Freak, with the light weight of a titanium case.
The Freak Lab Titanium DLC:
Being a big watch, the use of titanium is welcome for the Freak. And being ( still ) an original watch, why not some more " technical " material such as titanium DLC.
I didn't notice the existence of the Black Freak Lab... Did you?
What do you think of these 2 and most of all, of the presence of the date in the Freak?

But the black titanium Freak is awesome - my favorite so far! And the date is well integrated at least... Another watch for the grail list
Any Freak is stunning.
But I do rather like the smaller size and absolute clarity of purpose that the Freak 1 embodied.
It looks like carbon at least on the bezel

Agreed on the Black... I am not a fan of black watches, either. That would make a Freak too trendy, and a Freak doesn't need to be trendy. Now, a polished titanium case... As for the date, we are in full agreement. Best, my friend. Nicolas

the Date reminds me strong of the date-mechanism of the Iwc Fliegers: I don't like this construction, where you see three numbers beside each other. Here looks somehow better than the Iwc, maybe because of the bigger space on the dial. As for the material...
