One question..
Any idea if the hands presently on watch #1 is proper or it should be the hands from watch#2?
The hands do look..
.. proper, although the seconds hand has lost it's tail. But I fear the dial is a fake as well, the font of index " 3 " is not correct with it's flat top - should be a rounded one like on dial #2. best, Ben.

Don't know about number 2 but............
the dial on number one is definitely a re-dial. The original dials had a flat top to the A in Omega and no 'hook' on the 7. Sorry about that
Year of manufacture
The year of manufacture of number 1 would be 1945. The order went out in 1944 and all supplies of this watch were delivered between May and december 1945 - i.e just after the end of WW2. The last of them were withdrawn from service in 1981. Did you know t...
