The Wake Up Memovox App......
which I installed a few days ago is going to have to be uninstalled......it's rather battery hungry!
Quite surprised to see a low battery warning on my phone this evening and got rather a shock to find, simply running unused in the background, JLC's seemingly fairly basic alarm clock app has used more than three times the battery power of the GPS app that I used to track a four walk in the country!
In the iphone's settings for apps the Memovox app has, by default, access to mobile data but in the four days of it being installed it's only used 2.3kb. I doesn't appear to have an option to stop the backround running so it's being removed, a shame.

but even if it does, why on earth should it be responsible for nearly 50% of the battery's life over the four days of ownership....it wasn't even set to go off other than the one time I listened to what the alarm sounds like. It may be on the app store a ...
