May I know if the turnaround time is reason? This Dato is Cat 4 so the charge according to their price list on web? I’m starting to worry about these maintenance costs especially with the brand 😅.
I would never have a Lange serviced by a second or third party. Ever. Alkis in NYC can also service these watches well. Although I've heard he might be retiring soon. The cost was around 3k USD.
The word is overused these days, but is truly warranted in the case of this one. Since their relaunch Lange have managed to produce more than their fair share of icons - but if I could only have one, this would be it.
