We each know a few PuristS well. We might get a sense of them from their posts, photos, or personal visits.
For example, I first met Graham G99 in London 8-10 years ago at a GTG - we shared an interest in wacky time displays on our timepieces. Nicolas I met in a Paris bistro (imagine that); RoverMark multiple times (usually talking cars) and of course Dr. No at a Sunset Blvd hot spot.
I'd like to propose a new thread where we pick a Seiko that we think is appropriate for another Purist, and then provide a brief explanation, if necessary.
To start, let me chose Art. We've seen the Seiko watches he's been gifted from family members, restored, and worn with pride. But we haven't any that he has chosen for himself that his nieces, nephews, brothers or sisters, children (?) etc might hope to receive someday.
I suggest this Seiko Galante Spring Drive Ltd Edition as a possible fit for the Doctor:
So how about it? Pick a Purist and Propose a Seiko,
