Something to look forward to...
for those of us in North America, at least. 
Sometimes it seems like all the markets of the world but ours get
limited edition models from Vacheron Constantin. While we did have the
75 blue-dial Arabic number Overseas Chronometers back in 2000/1
and the 12 enamel dial North American Mercators from 2003, it seems
that other markets get more than their fair share.
Well, VC is making up for lost time: I attended a "Swiss Watch Fair" in
Cambridge two weeks ago and met with the East Coast Sales Rep for VC
NA. He revealed to me that there will be three limited edition models
(one of which will be in two case materials) made especially for the
North American market to be released this fall. One of the models was
on hand, and I am strongly considering placing an order.
