As I was browsing watches yesterday, looking for my next great piece, I was totally takena back by a Senator Sixties in Rose Gold with silver face. I've seen this one online in pictures many times and frankly was not all that impressed, but yesterday when I was able to see it up close and try it on - I was blown away.
Since then, I've been trying to get some additional information about the watch. I've been looking to add a gold watch to the collection but had shyed away from Glashutte as I already have the Sport Evo GMT (love it, by the way.) But this is now in leader position!
I was thinking it was possibly available as a manual wind watch, but after reading through the forums, I noted that Glashuette only makes the Sentor Sixties Manual in White Gold.
I am a bit confused as the back of the watch I looked at looked a lot like the shots posted in the link below:
18. G O has proven that it can be done . . . 07/22/2008 09:53 - Dr No
rather than the domed version I've seen at other dealers and other sites in pictures. I definitely saw the stem as shown here - ratehr than the chunky domed glass.
Can anyone help me out and explain what I saw? Or better yet, anyone have pics of the back side of a rose gold Senator Sixties?
