I've been on a binge the past three months ahead of a major birthday (40) next month and have fallen for GO in a big way. First it was the Senator Sixties black dial:

I fell for its strong look with the dark dial and its featherweight feeling on the wrist while being full of exceptional quality. It is a real stealth watch and is my daily wearer at the office. This watch is so stealthy it rarely gets noticed, but when it does people who have asked to see it have expressed amazement at the domed crystal and the view of the movement, which is really beautiful to look at.
Sorry for the poor picture quality. This watch is very difficult to photograph well, and my skills are non existent:

After a few weeks of joy with the Sixties, I had to have another GO. This next one was to be a sporty piece with presence, and I found it with the Sport Evo Chronograph on bracelet. The heft and feel really has to be experienced, I just cannot convey the overall solidity and superb detail in words. I have a seven inch wrist and I believe this watch would fit even smaller wrists just fine. The curved caseback and downward sloping lugs really help to minimize the overall look on the wrist, and although it's also very thick, somehow GO has managed to make it seem thinner:

I couldn't stop now, my growing addiction to GO having been fed, so I picked up the Trieste strap, because you just want to be prepared for those times when you just want to change the look right?

I only had it on the strap for a day and although the watch is heavy and the strap is light, somehow GO was able to make it seem nicely distributed on the wrist.
A few more weeks pass by and I'm loving my GO's, wearing the Sixties every day to the office, then changing to the Evo once home and on weekends. And it hits me again! I must have a Navigator! I've always liked the no date version a little more than the big date model--I prefer my watches without a date--and so I picked this up:

Yes, it's a big watch. In fact I think it's a HUGE watch for me, but it's a pilot's watch right? It's supposed to be big....and the way the lugs slope downward make it easier to wear on my seven inch wrist I think. The lume is really amazing and I wish I could take good pics of it at night but so far haven't been able to. This watch has a great feel which is very different from the Sport Evo and the Sixties of course. While big, it's light but with a solid weight to it, and while big, really doesn't have a big presence. Tough to describe, it's just a COOL watch in my opinion. I like the strap it came with, it's very high quality leather and gives a real vintage look and feel, but for changing things up, the Trieste strap works well I think:

So that's my GO journey (so far).....thanks for reading
