IN a blink of an eye the Zeitwerk can change its discs. A fly governor actually starts spinning before the disc change and continues spinning for about 1-2 seconds after to absorb the shock from the braking of the discs. You can see it spinning in the bac...

A gear shift in a double clutch transmission of a Ferrari/Lamborghini/Porsche sports car (supposedly around 100 milliseconds)... Or a Zeitwerk's disc change movement... Not that anyone really cares to know!

Regardless which is faster, we cannot visibly perceive it anyways 🤷 🤪
